Greetings…
I’m taking an overland truck with Bundu safari’s starting in cape town, Sa on june 2 and ending in Livingstone, Zambia on june 23, 2008. If any of you are keen to join me in or will be in Zambia around this time, let me know. I plan to travel for a few weeks and would love company! I plan to make my way back to SA but am open to all possibilities!
As most of you know,I’ve been traveling solo in Africa since Oct 23, 2007 except for the wonderful month I traveled with Heather through Malawi and Mozambique!
I’ve been enjoying traveling alone because of the freedom it allows me but I also miss good company and sharing the experience. I witness so many things that I wish I was able to talk and feel with someone else. Traveling in Africa certainly isn’t easy. I’m ready to share all the amazing, adventurous, and challenging experiences with someone whom I can relate to.
You know my method of travel- immmersing myself into a country and culture as much as possible by taking local transport, eating local food or cooking for myself, staying in backpackers,guest houses or couchsurfing- depending on what’s available and possible within a country.
As of July 1, 2008, I’m back in the USA.
I want to travel with you.
I just have to carve out some time.

Too bad I am “traveled out” at the moment (and that airfares are insane!), because I would love to see Namibia and Botswana. I look forward to the pictures!

still think you’ll be traveled out come mid june… that’s when my overland trip through Namibia/botswana will be over and I’ll be in zambia contemplating if I feel brave enough to overland on my own via public transit in Zambia, to Burundi, rwanda and Uganda… or make a new plan.
Unfortunately prices are steep and the closer to summer it gets in europe and the US the higher prices go… such a shame.
Hey Lady! I am motivated and inspired by your travel stories as I have been dreaming and planning a trip to Africa myself for some time now. Think i will finally happen for me starting this July 2009 and last for 4-6 months…The longer the better! How long will u be in Africa? Any interest or recommendations in regards to Zambia,South Africa, Tanzania, or Kenya?
